Abstract. On this wonderful day, we welcome the famous scientist, kind mentor, and charming man, Oksengendler, on their 80th anniversary. Boris Leonidovich Oksengendler is a prominent scientist, theoretical physicist, teacher, and thinker. His work has played a key role in the development of synergetics, polymer physics, and self-organization theory. Professor Oksengendler's name is associated with the creation of new ideas in theoretical physics and the physical chemistry of complex systems. He is a scientist who knows how to overcome the boundaries between disciplines and find the relationship between living and inanimate nature. B.L. Oksengendler is one of those scientists who work equally well with mathematical models and philosophical ideas. His research on polymer systems and their fractal structure has become the basis for theoretical models and applied developments in areas such as new materials, biophysics, and nanotechnology. Notice incidentally that Boris Leonidovich's pedagogical contribution is also important. He has educated a whole galaxy of young scientists, many of whom continue to develop his ideas in leading scientific centers in Uzbekistan and abroad. As a teacher and scientific supervisor, B.L. Oksengendler develops not only professional competencies among young people, but also a culture of thinking, intellectual honesty and aesthetic sense. Boris Leonidovich is a man with exceptional mental and cultural abilities. He is not just a prominent physicist, but also a representative of a unique type of thinking that combines philosophy, art and exact sciences. Over the years, his methodological seminars at our Institute, full of paradoxes and deep ideas, revealing cutting-edge topics in the field of polymer science and nanoscience, inspired listeners to original thinking and scientific courage. I take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate dear Boris Leonidovich on his Anniversary and wish him good health. Professor B.L. Oksengendler always remains a generator of scientific ideas, a strong motivator, and a phenomenal personality.
