Abstract. This paper described a review of scientific research on the production of biodegradable composite materials based on synthetic and natural polymers, the imparting of thermoplastic properties to natural polysaccharides and the use of various compatibilizers in the preparation of compositions from incompatible components, as well as additives that ensure the decomposition of polyolefins under the action of ultraviolet rays.
